I will take it for granted that this warning sign was accurate. This was along the White Sands Missile Testing Range, the proclaimed birthplace of American Space and Military missiles. I did not see a launch.
Wow, this must have been a gnarly "incident" to warrant a marker.
This sign, and the two that follow, are my attempt to memorialize the really cool dust storm that I tried to, but did not, drive through on a motorcycle. I will testify as to the accuracy and honesty of the Arizona and New Mexico Departments of Transportation. All 3 signs told the absolute truth.
