Just outside of Glenwood NM is the Whitewater Catwalk National Recreation Trail. It is a 1 mile long stretch up a stream that used to house a big pipeline used for blasting gold out of the rock. Now it is a really cool walking trail with deep pools, waterfalls, and the like.

For the only time on this entire Comet Journey at this instant I wished I had a video camera. I heard this gaggle of turkey's gobbling, loudly, about 30 seconds before I saw them. The video camera would have recorded about 100 of them rushing across the road, and I did NOT throw anything, stick-like or otherwise, at them.
I am fairly certain that this grouping of airborne creatures qualifies as a "murder of crows"
