pistachios, VLA, antelope, camper

He was hard to spot, but I did and he/she was a harmless (I think) antelope.

V.L.A. Very Large, very, very cool array of satellite dishes in New Mexico and, I learned, the largest radio telescope on earth. And I thought my google earth was impressive.

Looking for ideas of where to sleep while the van is in repair.

How could I not take a picture of this pistachio. It was my main clue to what kind of trees were lining the road.

Pistachio tree. I stopped at the roadside stand and bought some red chili pistachios. They were very hot....I ate a lot of them....my stomach hurts.
