At 8:30am on October 6 I left Pittsburgh. 4677.8 miles, 12 days, 7 hours, 21 minutes later I have reached the Pacific Ocean. Not as the crow flies, but the route of the comet. I feel I should write something like “I have returned to the shores of my birth” which is true, but I won’t.

All kidding aside California is ridiculously cool. Drive to to Pebble and take the 17 mile drive. Google it you'll see. I hope you brought enough socks for the drive...
