Wow, Wounded Knee is a kind of eerie place. It is not well kept, it is in the middle of the Pine Ridge Reservation, with all of the problems associate with these reservations, and it is powerful in the way that Gettysburg is powerful. It is still and active cemetary. I am really glad I drove there, suggestion of Steve F.
For a while is my history days in school I was interested in how the whole reservation idea works. I still don't think it works very well.
