Driving through this tree seemed like a good idea until I wanted to get out and take a photo. I could not open the doors and I don't know how to open the tailgate from the inside....so I climbed out the window, tore my shirt, hurt my shoulder, swore a lot, but made it out to get my shot.
And....if this tree is 5000 years old as indicated in the sign, then the Big Tree further up north is a lot older than 2000 years. These numbers are just bizarre to me.

Then again I grew up on a farm ..
you're almost wrecking the van to avoid hitting them and I'd wreck my car trying to see them!
